Art is Life!
Robin’s Art and Music come out a creative background. While Robin’s focus is on writing and music, she also enjoys other facets of creative endeavor. In art, Robin hopes to bring a smile, inspire or call attention to justice. There are many ways to see life and all of its beauty: songs, texts, poems, paintings, sculpture, photographs, people, animals, and more.
Robin discovered her one greatest passion is creativity. Regardless of the job, a creative spirit is a necessary part of fulfillment. Robin continues to draw, paint, and take photographs as a way to tap into creative energy. Art is also a wonderful expression of contemplation. Below are some of Robin’s contemplative drawings. Currently, she is working in abstract, but dare not post yet!
Robin’s Music
Robin has been a musician all of her life. Growing up, she sang in the church choirs, school choirs, and all afternoon in the living room. She began playing guitar and piano in seventh grade. In high school, Robin was active with the choral program and band. Clarinet became a loved instrument that she also played in the Symphonic Band in College.
As a church music major with a vocal concentration, Robin’s undergraduate training included singing the art songs, operatic arias, and choral music typical of a classical music training program. She also played guitar and sang with the Fellowship Teams at Pfeiffer, where a friend taught her some mandolin.
You can listen to her music at ReverbNation.
